In recent years, Alcalagres firm commitment to not produce waste materials has led them to research the process of recycling tiles that are rejected from the production line due to breakage, obtaining more than 30 models made using recycled material that meet the same stringent quality requirements as the rest of their products, but which produce less contamination. All of this work has been rewarded by the company being granted UNE-EN-ISO 14021 certification for the green label on its products, under the supervision of Bureau Veritas, thereby guaranteeing that their products are environmentally friendly and suitable for efficient use in all buildings that aspire to being classified as LEEDS® sustainable buildings.
